We don't just code. We architect, audit, and empower. In a world where anyone can prompt an AI to generate code, trust, security, and quality are the real differentiators. We've evolved beyond traditional development shops. We leverage cutting-edge AI tools to accelerate delivery, but we never outsource accountability. Your intellectual property stays private. Your code stays clean. And your project stays secure.

Privacy-First AI Development

Most dev shops use cloud-based AI assistants, meaning your business logic, client data, and proprietary IP are uploaded to third-party servers. We don't.

  • Zero Cloud Uploads: We utilize on-premises AI models (including self-hosted LLMs like Llama, Mistral, Qwen, and others) and tools like Open Code and Zed IDE.
  • Our IP, Our Network: All AI-generated code is processed locally. Nothing leaves our environment unless you explicitly instruct us to share it.
  • Secure by Default: This isn't just a feature-it's our foundation. We offer the speed of AI without the privacy risks of cloud-based coding assistants.

Empowering Your Team with Local AI Tooling

We're not here to gatekeep. We believe AI should enhance your workforce, not replace it.

  • AI Implementation Consulting: We help companies like yours integrate AI tools into their local networks safely and efficiently.
  • Custom AI Workflows: We can help with integration, automation, or documentation. Custom RAG pipelines to get your existing documents to your employees or customers who are looking for help.
  • Training & Support: We don't just set it up and leave. We train your team to use AI responsibly, ensuring they can leverage these tools independently while maintaining high standards.

Vibe Code Audits and Cleanup

"Vibe coding" (generating code via AI prompts) is fast. But it's not always reliable. That's where we shine.

  • We Code with AI, But We Code with Care: We use AI to accelerate boilerplate, generate tests, assist with documentation, and explore solutions. Human experts write the final architecture, and review everything.
  • Rigorous Auditing: Every line of AI-generated code is reviewed, tested, and optimized by senior developers. We catch hallucinations, security vulnerabilities, and inefficiencies that automated tools miss.
  • No "Black Box" Apps: You'll never inherit a messy, untestable codebase. We deliver clean, documented, and maintainable software that your team can own and scale.

Still not sure you want to work with humans?

We're not ignorant about the direction the software development industry is headed. However, without knowledge of how these things work, it's easy to walk into a trap. Here's some tips if you decide that you want to try some of the platforms/tools out there. Remember, speed is great. Freedom is essential.

Platforms like Base44, Lovable, and similar "vibe coding" tools promise the world: instant apps, no-code simplicity, and the ability to build software by simply describing what you want. It's exciting. It's fast.

But... it's also a trap.

While these tools lower the barrier to entry, they raise the barrier to exit. When you build your business logic inside a proprietary, closed-source AI ecosystem, you aren't just building an app-you're signing a lease on your own future. Here's why relying on these platforms is dangerous for any serious business.

  1. Vendor Lock-In Is Not a Feature, It's a Chain
With traditional development, you own your code. You choose where to host. You manage your dependancies and determine your risk comfort level. With AI-generated platforms like Lovable or Base44, you often don't own the structure of your application.
    • Proprietary Syntax These platforms often generate code in formats that are tightly coupled with their specific runtime environments. Extracting your app to move to a standard React/Node or Python environment is rarely as simple as "copy-paste."
    • The Pivot Problem Imagine your business needs to change direction six months later. Can you easily migrate your app to GCP, Digital Ocean, Azure, or a different hosting provider (we recommend Vultr)? With closed platforms, the answer is often no...without a complete rebuild.
    • No Leverage When you don't control the infrastructure or the code architecture, you have no negotiating power.
  2. The Pricing Trap: Until It's Too Late
The "free" or "cheap" tier of these platforms is a bait. The real danger lies in the scaling costs.
    • Usage-Based Black Boxes: Many AI-first platforms charge based on token usage, compute time, or "seats" in ways that are opaque to the user. As your app grows, your costs can skyrocket unpredictably.
    • No Price Transparency: Because the underlying infrastructure is a "black box," you can't optimize costs. You can't choose cheaper storage, optimize database queries for cost-efficiency, or switch providers to save money.
    • Sudden Changes: These platforms can change their pricing models, restrict features, or even shut down with little notice. When that happens, your business halts.
  3. Your Data Is Stuck in a Mystery Box
Security isn't just about firewalls; it's about visibility.
    • The Black Box Problem: When you use a closed AI platform, you have no visibility into how your data is processed, stored, or transmitted. You're trusting their promise, not verifying it.
    • Compliance Nightmares: For industries like healthcare, finance, or legal, passing audit requirements is impossible if you can't prove where your data lives and how it's handled. Cloud AI platforms often struggle with GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2 compliance because their architecture is too opaque.
    • IP Exposure: Even if the platform claims they don't train on your data, the risk remains. Your business logic is living inside their ecosystem. If they suffer a breach, your proprietary algorithms are on the line.
  4. You Don't Own the Logic-You Rent the Illusion
There's a critical difference between writing code and prompting code.
    • No Understanding, No Control: If you don't understand the code, you can't fix it when it breaks. You can't optimize it for performance. You can't secure it against new threats. You're dependent on the platform's support team, whose response time is never guaranteed.
    • The "It Works on My Machine" Fallacy: AI-generated code often works perfectly in the sandbox but fails in production due to edge cases, security headers, or integration complexities that the AI didn't anticipate.
    • Technical Debt by Default: Vibe-coded apps are often messy under the hood. Without professional auditing, you're inheriting a codebase that is difficult to scale, debug, or extend.

Thank you for reading this far.

You've just encountered the "missing warning label" that is almost never printed on these software platforms. Think of a high-powered table saw: it comes with bright, clear warnings about kickback, blade guards, and the danger of losing a finger if you're careless. It's designed to protect you from the tool's immense potential.

Yet, when you plug into a vibe coding platform, the warning label is missing. They sell you the speed of the saw without telling you that the blade is spinning inside a locked box, that the dust will fill your lungs with proprietary data, and that you can't easily move the machine out of the shop if you decide you want to go elsewhere. We wrote this page because that warning needs to be loud, clear, and unavoidable.

A quick confession: Yes, this page was drafted by an AI agent.

But here is the critical difference: We read it. Our Dev Lead edited it. The Team approved it.

There is a living, breathing human behind the final words you are seeing right now. We use (on prem!) AI to accelerate our workflow, but we never outsource our judgment, our ethics, or our responsibility to you. In a world of automated noise, we offer human accountability. You don't just get code; you get a partner who understands the risks, respects your privacy, and ensures that your business stays in your control.

Let's build something you can actually own.
